Clinical Pilates at Bodyfocus Physiotherapy – Rhodes & Macquarie Park
We are now holding 1-on-1 supervised Clinical Pilates sessions as well as group classes consisting of up to 4 participants. We specialise in back and injury rehabilitation + strengthening, general fitness including core strengthening, ante/post natal & flexibility. All classes are led and instructed by an exercise physiologist trained in Clinical Pilates. Prior to your first 1-on-1 or class Pilates session, you will be required to undergo an Initial Pilates Assessment conducted by a physiotherapist. In this assessment, you will be assessed for mobility, strength and injury. You will then be education on the fundamentals of Pilates and the essential movements and postures which you will need at the beginning of your Pilates program. This assessment ensures that you are given the safest possible exercises with minimal risk for injury.
What is Pilates?
Pilates is a mind body conditioning exercise program that targets the deep postural muscles of the abdomen and spine to improve overall central core stability and posture. The mind and body are brought together to achieve these aims through the following eight sound principles: concentration, centering, breathing, isolation, routine, precision, control and flowing movement.

One on One Pilates Session (40min) $94.00
Group Session (Rhodes only) (40mins, max 4 participants) $35.00 per class (approx. 10 weeks per term, term fees apply)
