TeleHealth is a new service we have started offering here at Bodyfocus Physiotherapy in response to the COVID- 19 pandemic. This involves an online physiotherapy session using video with your practitioner.
This option is most suitable for those who are in self isolation, but still require physiotherapy, or those who are in the vulnerable/at risks group and do not wish to visit us in the clinic.
Access to internet, and a working webcam or smart phone is essential.
The session online will include going over your symptoms, some testing, diagnosis, education, and a comprehensive exercise plan. Healthfund rebates, and medicare rebates may apply as well.
We have upgraded our current software, cliniko, to allow us to use telehealth. To complement this, we have also started using Physitrack, a new software tool, that allows us to design, send, and track your exercise progress
Its an uncertain time for everyone.
